You couldn't have arranged it better if you'd tried! The ducks are perfectly arrayed in opposition to the angle of the bridge.
It's truly lovely!

They look ducklike, but they're Canada geese.
It was a gray day, nearly colorless in the mist and rain. I found color later with wildflowers in the woods.
