Butterflies & damselflies that fluttered by today

All encountered this morning during a walk in the Muhlenberg Native Plant Meadow, Lancaster, PA.

Eastern comma butterfly


Silver-spotted skipper


Blue-fronted dancer damselfly


Red admiral butterfly


Ebony jewelwing damselfly


Powdered dancer damselfly


Silvery checkerspot butterfly

Yesterday I saw a swarm of five of them all the same kind fluttering around in flying or I should say fluttering formation.

No camera or photos on me at the time.
