(3,459 posts)It's simple. you just need a light, something to difuse the light like a piece of plastic or even a non see through plastic bag. My locating device is two strips of wood glued in place (popsicle sticks are fine). The hole in the box should be a little larger then the exposed film portion. Two hundred slides an hour no problem. Scanning would take forever.

(42,012 posts)Camera, with a paper towel tube cut to the length of the focus. Its not perfect, but the quality isnt bad. The Kodachrome hold up very well but the Ektachromes and probably any Kodacolor might suffer some fading, but these have been in their boxes in a closet for a while.
