(6,495 posts)That's a lot of leaves to rake, especially if they're large trees! I have a fig tree and a lilac bush in my postage-stamp yard. The neighbor's two tall hollies ride the property line and drop leaves into the yard, but overall there's not much to rake.

(38,098 posts)We have 3 acres here. Sophie gets a back yard of about 1 3/4 acres of fenced in yard to run around in. Its nice except for in the fall.

(154,856 posts)We lack the colorful foliage that you have. I think the only tree that turns here is the liquidamber. They are gorgeous but they're in the minority.
