Are you a professional photographer? My guess is YES. 
I'm not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I've never made a dime from any of my photos; never had a show; never had a benefactor. DU is the only place I post my photos. If I were a professional, I would not be posting my photos here to lord it over amateurs just to feed my ego.
All of that said, the fact that you think my photos are professional quality is quite the compliment.
