Moon tonight by AndyS Posted Sat Feb 5, 2022, 06:58 PM (retrieved by George McGovern)

Air is cold and still in N TX. Really clear sky and very little pollution as the ice has had everybody staying home--no traffic at all for the last three days!

OMD EM1 mkii, 300mm f4 with 1.4x converter and using digital 2x in-camera for a total of 1680mm full frame equivalent. Hand held @ 200/sec f5.6 ISO 640

He knew so much about photography! And that was inevitable since he had a master's degree in it. Plus he was always reading and keeping track of developments in the field.

He and I were close friends, always talking via video chat, discussing our varied works. He taught me a lot about exposures and the like. When he died, I was devastated. I still carry grief over that loss. In December, he will have been gone 2 years.
