'Round the Farm Sunday. Been a quiet week. Dodgers won -- cat, dog, horses could care less. Warning-dog poop photo.

Since summer's ending KC's become an indoor cat.

Shadow's been pretty lazy of late.

Daddy's been dutifully scooping dog poops. Got ours from amazon.com.

Rain water drops on plants.

Latest progress on the barn.

Rained all day yesterday. Maddie stayed under cover mostly.

Pete stayed out.

Looking for Maddie.

She came out after awhile, heading for her hay bin.

It was such an exciting day for a horse.

Nonetheless, the rain quit late afternoon and we saw a pretty sunset.

Once the rain stopped, however, strong winds came up, blowing and bending LoisB's Big Tree out of vertical.

But overnight the winds stopped and the Big Tree stands tall this morning.

YW DD! Some horses seem not to mind the rain. If Pete had stood in his shed he couldn't see Maddie. George McGovern Yesterday #3
Lazy, comfy days of Fall. Looks like Maddie is in a mood because Pete stayed out in the 🌧️ rain. Polly Hennessey Yesterday #2
She could've been Polly. Maddie does have her moods. Love your rain cloud! Thank You. George McGovern Yesterday #4

KC has the right idea. Stay inside when it’s cold.

Now that we have a yard full of autumn leaves, pooper scooping is a real challenge because it’s hard to find!

Do horses mind being out in the rain? There’s a horse stable down the road from me and I hardly ever see the animals out when it’s raining.

Love the beautiful mountains you see every day. Barn is really coming along!

Once the barn's done they'll have adjacent stalls. TY for your commentary!

recharging. Pete and Maddie look great and the barn is really coming along. That must have been some wind to bend Big Tree like that - but she weathered it and resumed her majestic stance well.
Thank you for sharing this incredible life.
