Since summer's ending KC's become an indoor cat.

Shadow's been pretty lazy of late.

Daddy's been dutifully scooping dog poops. Got ours from amazon.com.

Rain water drops on plants.

Latest progress on the barn.

Rained all day yesterday. Maddie stayed under cover mostly.

Pete stayed out.

Looking for Maddie.

She came out after awhile, heading for her hay bin.

It was such an exciting day for a horse.

Nonetheless, the rain quit late afternoon and we saw a pretty sunset.

Once the rain stopped, however, strong winds came up, blowing and bending LoisB's Big Tree out of vertical.

But overnight the winds stopped and the Big Tree stands tall this morning.

(38,984 posts)KC has the right idea. Stay inside when its cold.
Now that we have a yard full of autumn leaves, pooper scooping is a real challenge because its hard to find!
Do horses mind being out in the rain? Theres a horse stable down the road from me and I hardly ever see the animals out when its raining.
Love the beautiful mountains you see every day. Barn is really coming along!

Thank you for sharing this incredible life.
