LoisB's Big Tree, prominent in many sunset images beyond our back yard.

Like in this picture posted on September 25, 2025, where LoisB called the tree "majestic".

Well, I finally got a closer up daylight shot and the big tree turns out to be three trees in one spot.

Thanks LoisB for your discriminating eye.

We had some in Massachusetts. What do you and tree experts say?

But seriously folks — You usonian are correct.

According to Gardenia.net it is "a fast-growing
deciduous tree known for its striking columnar shape."
