DOUGLAS COUNTY OPENS VOTER SERVICE AND POLLING CENTERS FOR SPECIAL ELECTION ASSISTANCE
Douglas County voters who need to get a jump on the June 24 Special Election can now receive in-person assistance at Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs), which opened their doors today, June 16. These centers will offer aid ranging from voter registration updates to in-person voting options, as reported by Douglas County. VSPCs are crucial because, after today, they serve as the only place to register to vote or to rapidly update existing registration before the upcoming election.
VSPCs can be found in three locations across Douglas County: Castle Rock at Douglas County Human Services, Highlands Ranch at Douglas County Parks and Trails Division, and in Parker at Parker Water and Sanitation.
Voters may visit these sites from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays until June 23. There will also be hours on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and extended hours on Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., to accommodate as many voters as possible.
For residents who are not yet registered, they still have the opportunity to make their voices heard. Colorado law permits voter registration up until Election Day itself. So, if you're in Douglas County and want to participate in the Special Election but haven't registered, head over to any VSPC between now and Election Day, June 24, as per Douglas County.
