What to know regarding Question 2 ahead of next week's election
BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Election Day is next Tuesday, and two statewide referendum questions will be on the ballot.
Question 2, if passed, would enact an red flag law.
“Who can initiate the process and whether or not a mental health evaluation is involved,” said Lt. Michael Johnston of the Maine State Police.
Those are the two main differences State Police see between Maine’s current yellow flag law and the proposed red flag law appearing on Maine ballots next week.
