Afternoon at the mini-stead...
HOT, HOT, HOT…
Made sure all chores were done by 6:30 this morning. Woke at 4:00 knowing stuff had to be done.
Turned the main house dark as a cave. We have no air conditioning so will be spending most of the day outdoors.
It’s really not much of a change…just not doing any work…well kinda.
Basically we are “Glamping”, living outdoors with a house behind us. Made pulled pork for dinner, started the dry rub marinade last night. Caramelized the outside on the grill, put it in the instapot for an hour and fourty five, on a rack above the chicken broth so the meat wouldn’t touch the liquid. BBQ sauce from that broth.
All done outside…
NOW…
A great smoke, cannabis, a decent beer, a beautiful person sitting next to me…life is good.
Here’s now…95 with a 25 mile ‘breeze’ …beautiful.
