Just found a new creepy thing about Google/GMail...
I was looking in my Google Account settings, trying to find the place to change the painfully glaring white background they've now made the default in the Contacts program, and I ran across something called "Reservations".
WTF?
A list of plane reservations culled, apparently, from anything connected with an airline in my GMail.
This is creepy as hell. I really do NOT want them collecting that information for me or for them or for anyone.
So far I can't figure out how to turn it off, though.
Anyone had any luck with that?
OR with changing the background in "Contacts" for the browser-based program service on a desktop computer?

Bright

(8,675 posts)I use:
1. iCloud for email
2. DuckDG for most internet searches
3. Epic browser for general reading on internet.
4. WhatsApp for messaging with good friends in alternate realities.
5. Facebook for lost friends
Now testing if Epic browser somehow fails me (it hasn't):
1. Brave Browser

I never go anywhere near Facebook anymore.
