Earlier this week, El Paso International Airport briefly closed, ostensibly due to a drone threat. What actually happened is subject to much political intrigue within Washington. However, the underlying threat is something that both sides of the Atlantic are currently having to deal with. Today, we examine foreign adversaries committing attacks similar to Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb, the fumbled response to the El Paso situation, and some alternative defense strategies that are already in the works.
