You're proving her point. If men move further right, they're just exacerbating their own problems. Women choosing to be emotionally and financially safe doesn't drive men further right. Men choose to move further right.

Women are allowed to notice that the world is being made unsafe for us financially, emotionally and physically. If that angers men and makes them dig their heels in and demand women accept being unsafe, that's men's wrongdoing. Not women's.

Women have fathers, sons, husbands, ... who they love. Many women are going to keep voting against Democrats if they feel Dems are demonizing the men in their lives.

And again, try winning elections without women who vote for Democrats and women who have not in the past but who will now because they are terrified by the women-hating rhetoric and activities that have become mainstream. All polls say there are quite a lot of the latter.

"Don't rock the boat, ladies," which is pretty much what you are saying, is asinine given what is happening to us. It just isn't going to work anymore.

And PS: we all have fathers, sons, husbands. If those men are not abusing us, we - and they - understand this doesn't apply to them. If you're not abusing us, you don't need to feel threatened when we say, "Don't abuse us."
