They are erasing history.
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A webpage detailing the history of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team has been removed from the U.S. Armys official website.
The 442nd, combined with the 100th Infantry Battalion, remains the most decorated combat unit in history for its size and length of service. The World War II unit was made up mostly of second generation Japanese-Americans.
The Army website had the history of the 442nd before President Trumps executive order ending what he called radical diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI initiatives.
