They basically took Christmas Day from the NBA.
Now they stomp into college football rivalry week IN SEC time. I didn’t know there was a NFL game today. Must’ve started at 3:00. The SEC owned the 3:30 time slot on football days for decades.

Philly and Chicago are large markets too.
KC and Dallas yesterday is expected to top the previous one game record of the Giants vs. Dallas Thanksgiving Day 2022 of 42.6 Million viewers.

I didn't watch the later game. But that was really a shocker.

None of us could root for either team. Normally when either team plays we all root against them. Everyone, old and young, agreed Taylor is a great artist, though there was a great divergence about exactly why.

Interesting note, not a MAGA type in the room.

I am not an Eagles fan, but they are much better than what we saw today. I still think they are a better team than the Bears, and that is saying a lot.

The Bears ran the ball with authority, which is good, especially since Caleb Williams had his worst game of the season. The offensive line was terrific when they ran the ball, and terrible when they attempted to throw. I don't know if the Bears defense made the Eagles offense look bad, or the Eagles offense made the Bears defense look good. I do know this: this was the biggest test of the season for my beloved Bears, and they passed.

Not with flying colors. There are still question marks. Any objective viewer has to wonder if they can beat the Packers, solid on offense and incredible on defense. But they did pass the test. They won the game and right now they look like a better team than the defending Super Bowl champions. Last year at this time they had just fired their coach in awkward fashion. What a difference a year makes.

I confess that I was giddy today. It's nice to feel that way about your team.
