I want to renew star membership with credit card.

I want a one time payment with credit card, but when I click on the link and put in all the info it still directs me to a PayPal account. I do not have a PayPal account and do not want to open one. I want to renew my membership with a credit card but cannot. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

2. I did it earlier.

As I recall, there was a point in the process of populating the "form" where it has an option to opt out pf including pay pal in the process.

If I remember correctly it was at the lower part of the form. There was a black dot that was default ON for pay pal. So what you have to do is slide the dot to opt out. Then you click on a "tab" that says you are proceeding as a GUEST.

I am doing this from memory. I hope it is clear and helpful.

4. I use Apple pay for the one-time ... Yes, PayPal ... (not sure about others like it)

No sign-up, and PayPal never sees my credit card number, Only some one-time code from Apple.

There's always snail mail if you still have any paper checks lying about.

9. Glad to know it was not only me.

I suppose I could have just let my membership lapse and then just sign up like it was the first time. All I was trying to do was renew and that was the problem. I gave up and sent a check.

10. Last year I tried to use Visa but I kept going to PayPal.

I got charged, but I thought I had cancelled that transaction.
Because of that, I wrote a check for membership last year.
I hadn't cancelled PayPal at all.
So last year, I paid twice.
