Need HELP! With Posting Images! Please!

I have created both an Imgur acct and a Photobucket acct and I can't get either one to post anything but a link to the image. Jeez. It should not be this hard! How do I get it to embed the image? Please help?

1. When viewing your picture in Imgur, Right Click on the picture, click on Copy Image Link from the menu

that pops up, and then in your DU post, press Control V (that's paste)

The format looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/S314Fmt.png

and displays like this:

2. OK. Thanks. I did that, but not on my computer.

I was using my phone (Android). Everything was the same, except all I ever saw was the link text. It did not display the photo in Preview. I'll try on my computer later and see if that works better.

If what I described doesn't work on my phone, there's an alternative that might... later, sometime after 3 PM CT

ETA - can you paste the link that you got into a reply? Yet another alternative is modifying it...
