Alfred Hitchcock's Torn Curtain.....Paul Newman and Julie Andrews......

Trashed by tomatoes.....63% by critics, audience gave it 52% tomatoes......i’m Liking it. Always fun to find Alfred’s cameo. But i’m enjoying the premise. Paul Newman is a double agent.......

I love cold war spy romance. And Paul Newman AND Julie Andrews? What's not to love?

Not as gripping as say North by Northwest, Rear Window, or The Man Who Knew Too Much, but it is a good solid story. Forget where Hitchcock appears in the film. That's always fun--to find him!
