#2-son really wanted to see it before he returned to school today, so we went to a late show and missed about the first 10-15 minutes. We both loved it. I want to see it again and #1 son still wants to see it, so I think we are going again tomorrow with some other friends of family. (No spoilers, but the last five minutes are a hoot.)

(16,648 posts)Sure, it's Hollywood-ized some, but the spirit is intact. My 20-year-old was absolutely amazed that a newspaper could be produced without computers. His mouth fell open when they showed the work involved in the typing, typesetting, etc. And when the printing press started at mid-night, it shook the entire building!

(30,383 posts)Saw it today, and I'm in the process of recommending it to all my friends. Streep and Hanks are phenomenal, and the supporting cast is first-rate. Such a great movie to see right now, given all that we're facing as a nation.
