Cranked up the BOSE speakers and were just totally blown away by it.
I love this kind of movie anyway and had been so looking forward to it.

(6,261 posts)I said the same thing after the same director's Blade Runner sequel. It was visually stunning, but I also forgot about it about as quickly as lifting the sheet of an etch-a-sketch after leaving the cinema. This is unlike the original which stayed with me for days afterwards.

(65,182 posts)I loved BR49, easily one of the best films I've ever seen in a theater, in many ways (IMO) surpassing the original. I really, REALLY like this director.
Dune is very good, especially compared to the adaptations that preceded it.

(62,473 posts)They did just about as good a job as I could imagine anyone doing . . . . oh and Stellan Skarsgard - just waiting for more Harkonnen screen time.
