Finally saw "Testament" today

Powerful movie about a community struggling with societal breakdown and slow death from a nuclear bomb. There is no explanation for the reason for the blast.

I recommend this somber movie. I'm still thinking about it. It is very sad

The author struggled to get the short story published because of the dark subject matter.

The movie was intended for PBS, but when they were making it, they realized it was good enough for theatrical release.

Very powerful movie. It freaked me out.
