Actress Jean Spangler was #BornOnThisDay, Sept.2, 1923. On Oct. 7, 1949, in Hollywood, working as a film extra, Spangler disappeared. 2 days later, her purse was found in Griffith Park, 5.5 miles from her home. Despite a massive hunt, her case remains unsolved. #RIP #GoneTooSoon
