I watched Amsterdam on HBO a few days ago.

Christian Bale was fabulous. (He's looking a little thin, to me.)

Good story. The very end of the movie had short video of Gen. Smedley Butler.

1. Just watched it tonight - excellent, anti-fascist dark comedy/mystery based on a true story.

It flopped big time at the box office, but hopefully will do better on streaming.

I highly recommend it,

Butler was a great patriot and seemed to have a real moral center, even for a Marine.

liked it! It was here and gone in no time and I hear it did not do well. This was my husbands choice for a Birthday movie and my oldest son and I took him. It was a great show. I could not believe how much I enjoyed it, we all did.

Christian Bale was fabulous! I did not even know it was him for a while. It also had Michael Shannon, my son and I really like him a lot. The whole cast was good.

My son and I are planning on catching his new movie about Tammy Wynett ( sp? I have no idea, so NOT a fan) because he is in it. I will look for "Bug" and try to cover it too. Thanks!

It also has a stellar performance by Ashley Judd.

Take Shelter is great as well. He's such a chameleon.
