revises that character on TV as Columbo. Anyone remember him in that?? He was a PI wasn’t he?? I actually enjoyed Columbo.

There was a joke that his wife solved all the murders but I take “My wife was wondering….” as getting the suspect(who all thought they were too smart by half) that maybe their masterminded plan wasn’t that hard to figure out. Sort of a “some people are saying…” thing to plant doubt in there mind or cause them to act out in some way.
