Trump 2nd term scandal explodes: DOJ resignations, blistering GOP vet's protest, 'corruption' clash - The Beat - MSNBC

One federal prosecutor has agreed to sign a motion to dismiss the corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams, following pressure from Trump’s officials.

MSNBC’s Ari Melber reports on the slew of prosecutors who have also resigned from the Department of Justice over this pressure, as well as one resigned prosecutor’s claim that the government should not be allowed to “use the carrot of dismissing charges, or the stick” for their political agenda. - Aired on 02/14/2025.

And the decision to impeach TFG. She said that too many Republicans were afraid to vote "yes" because of both the threats to themselves and their families and they knew they'd be primaried. She said that if it had been an anonymous vote, the yes votes would have been overwhelming. And of the 10 Republican House members who voted for impeachment, only 2 of them were reelected to the next Congress.
