(42,189 posts)And yeah, whoever the hell the POTUS is on any given day, why are we wanting to mess with our Good Neighbor Canada? I ask again, WHY? Every time I think of Canada I have good and positive thoughts. You have to be an incredibly hateful, horrible human being to consider harming Canadians. When will the buyers remorse start setting in MAGAs?

(232,989 posts)We get a lot of Canadian visitors, mainly Quebec and Ontario, during the tourist season. I'm wondering if that's going to stop? And I have Canadian friends, when I went to summer camp in Vermont growing up, many counselors and fellow campers were Canadian. One who comes regularly to camp reunions was a counselor who lives in Quebec and brings his wife who I love. She once gave me quite a lecture on how terrible TFG is, not that I disagreed.
And it's traditional for a new POTUS to make his first "foreign" trip to Canada, our closest neighbor and ally. But of course TFG broke tradition and made his first foreign trip to Saudi Arabia - likely at Jared's suggestion.
