4. This was a topic at this mornings coffee klatch. I think this gentleman is 100% correct.

I live in a red state and I guarantee you that this state is armed to the teeth. I do believe that the recent statements on gun rights by Trump, et al, are a bridge too far for local gun owners. It is the one issue where they will make a clean break from Trump. If Trump wanted to confiscate guns here, he'd have to get the 82nd Airborne to do it because no local law enforcement would ever attempt to do it. Not only because they are all Second Amendment people, but they would be severely out gunned. They are simply not going to be willing to get into a fight with their friends and neighbors. We have seen in Minneapolis how quickly neighbors come together to support one another. I think you would find the situation similar in most of the red states and at least the rural areas of blue states.
