Trump's messaging on immigration makes absolutely no sense [View all]

Let me get this straight...

Immigrants are bad, evil, disease-spreading criminals who should be tossed out of the country because they're a danger to "real" Americans.

BUT Trump has now announced a pause on deporting immigrants who work in the agriculture industry, ie. on farms, ie. in "red" rural America.

AND Trump has also announced an increased crackdown on immigrants who live in big "blue" cities like LA, Chicago, and New York.

SO... shouldn't Trump supporters be asking themselves, "Why is it that the president is protecting those big blue cities by clearing out all the evil immigrants, but allowing them to carry on as normal in the red rural areas we live in?"

In fact, shouldn't those Trump supporters be worried that this is going to encourage immigrants to move from big cities to rural areas, because it's safer for them to live and work there than in cities?

(PS. Don't worry, this is really a rhetorical question -- I understand that there is no logic to any of this.)
