Though justice should equally stand,
The Court lent the rich a strong hand.
Said Jackson, "Take care—
This bias laid bare
May erode what the people demand."

The Court backed the wealthy once more,
While the powerless wait at the door.
Said Jackson, "This trend
Puts our trust near its end—
'Equal Justice' must mean something more."

When profits and power align,
This Court says the ruling is fine.
But Jackson can see
That equality's plea
Is drowned out by money’s design.
