If you're having to justify a position with the court having ruled that Israel has plausibly committed war crimes and genocide, but not definitely, really threading a moral needle. I believe the Bush administration took a similar view on water boarding. Both sides have chosen immoral violence. Unfortunately neither side's supporters can admit to their side's culpability.
And as for dismissing Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch because they have no legal authority so their opinion is meaningless, perhaps we should consider your own lack of legal authority and be equally dismissive of what you say.
