4. Nothing. The country is going to do nothing.

The only people who can stop this are the elected Republicans and they’re not going to do a fucking thing.

Peacefully protesting does nothing. It just doesn’t. And what really needs to be done is too horrifying and inconvenient. We’re not going to get to that point until tens of millions of people have nothing left to lose. As it is, far too many people are perfectly happy to let these bastards do whatever they want. We don’t have the numbers. We don’t have anywhere near enough people willing to take direct action.

You don’t get rid of fascists through peaceful means. That’s the just the sad fact. Americans have had it too easy for too long, they’ve forgotten the blood it took to claw even the most basic of services and rights from the owners.

You’re not going to find many people willing to do that kind of dirty work, that kind of sacrificing to preserve what meager freedoms we have.

We’re in a bad, bad spot right now.
