Israel started bombing Iran on June 20. Trump bombed Iran on Sunday.

While oil prices briefly dipped in May into the $60-$70 range in April and May, they recovered back into the $70s in the past week and have leveled off somewhat.

Predictions of $100/barrel oil price assume Iran will block the straits of Hormuz. But that is unlikely given that it wouldn't just impact the US -- it would impact other countries, particularly China as well as other oil producing countries. Iran has threatened such a blockade in the past and hasn't done it and its unlikely they will do it now.

Sky is falling posts play into Trump's hand by undermining our credibility.

UPDATE: As of 4pm Monday, West Texas Crude was down to below $69.
