(41,741 posts)umbrella of The Hague, both of which the U.S. signed onto but did not ratify through the Senate, thanks to Bush, of course.
But beyond the federal government, it might be possible that several AG's of US states could, evidenced by measurable harm to millions with no legal recourse, ask the Hague (because they don't have standing)
to refer to a Hague Prosecutor to investigate actions of the president, related rulings of SCOTUS, or both.
I could be mistaken but I think that this was what Jack Smith did at the Hague.
Hope for a trifecta election where we finally have a majority in the Senate who'll ratify our being a signatory to The Hague and I.C.C.
We should not have to convince our own party that the American people deserve this level of justice, since they've suffered at home for not having it.
