69. 'we are tolerant people'

That's one of the standard right-wing "comebacks." It typically goes along the llines of "I thought libs were supposed to be tolerant." It's a slam in a thin veil for expressing intolerance of, largely, bigots.

But I will NEVER tolerate bigots of any stripe. Indeed, I despise them, one and all. One of my fondest, longest-lived wishes is for them to be removed from the face of the Earth.

And if I feel a need to express this wish or my hatred of them, I will. The same applies to The Felon and those who assist him in his quest for tyranny.

I'll grant you this: Saying simply "I hate _____" accomplishes nothing, nor do "He's insane," "He wants to be a dictator" and other such words that have become clichés. If it's obvious to all, why say it? Make your words memorable, and never allow them to be silenced.
