In a stunning upset, Zohran Mamdani declared victory in the New York City Mayoral Democratic primary with a complete grassroots campaign, beating out the billionaire-backed former governor Andrew Cuomo.
In response to the news, MAGA conservatives are, unsurprisingly, um, already crashing out about it...
...including, you guessed it, Ted Cruz.
He wrote on X, "To all my friends in New York who are not communists; Come to Texas! We love freedom & we’re not nuts. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸"
