As maga becomes more rightwing and racist, she sees the writing on the wall. She's been dabbling in and out of different spaces to try to see what might be more profitable. She tried to do a black media tour which did not go so well.
She needed an event like the Iran fiasco to credibly sever ties, so now the question is... what's next?
The thing is, we're not as understanding about folks with tRump regret this time around. Candace is a triple trumper! She voted for him three fucking times (including once after he purposely tried to overthrow an American election)! And now we're all forced to watch in horror as our country is dismantled piece by piece.
Once she fully understands that there will be no welcome committee waiting for her on the left, she'll probably find herself in No Man's Land like Meghan McCain, Chris Christie and Mike Pence--alternating between rejecting tRump sometimes, kissing his ass sometimes, insulting the left here and there, to the point where she'll be hated by most people on both sides.
