Uncommitted Muslims and others who voted for Democrats since 2004 who were understandably upset by the Biden's administration actions tried to do the same thing but they didn't realize it just causes the party to double-down and ignore their interests if not outright hostile to them. Mehdi Hasan tried to point this out, he was supportive of Harris and the Democrats because he understood Trump was worst and knew that the few progressives who tried to withhold their vote didn't work out in their favor.
The People's Party was always an irrelevant party, the infighting with what little membership they had -- even Nina Turner split from them before she ran as a Democrat.
I'm a blue no matter who type of voter but I think if Democrats are sincere about winning in future elections they should try to heal divisions and bring back loyal constituents back into the fold.
