Speaker Emerita did not say the Epstein/Trump scandal was not important — she’s the mother of five and grandmother of many more, and she knows damn well that pimping out barely pubescent girls and high school teenagers is something that needs to land the perps in prison for life.

But imo we Dems and above all the media DO tend to focus on the daily shiny object (or as the dog says: Squirrel!! ) and above all we MUST learn to multitask. The Trump junta has flooded the zone with sewage — it’s exhausting and hard to wade thru — but that is the job at hand. Some of our folks are really good at it, and sometime it would be nice to tell them.
