Yesterday

I can tell you i am a bit worried - due to NYS finally changing the laws in 2020/2021 allowing adoptees to request our real birth certificates i have a copy of both. But the thing that concerns me is that the original with my true birth surname is not considered my real birth certificate and the one with my adopted surname is considered my “real” certificate - can you imagine if i needed to trying to explain this to the regime?

I forgot that additionally I go by my married surname which is none of the above.
