...I think it's an important part of the story here, in that I believe they chose Comey first in the cynical expectation that Dems would be divided over an old grudge about that election that can't be undone.

We don't choose him for this, Trump did, and I think we need to ask ourselves why.

And maybe try to look at this beyond our own political reasoning about that election, something which isn't actually going to be assuaged or remedied by any of this in any way, shape, or form other than some satisfaction in his demise at the hands of something we should find highly objectionable; as at least as abhorrent as Comey's enabling conduct in that election.

I don't believe that conundrum is a coincidence.
