Why are hundreds of generals and admirals meeting with Hegseth? [View all]

The only reason that I can think of is that the regime is checking to see how much loyalty they have in the military ranks?

Who is on their side if they have to go to war in the streets?

What will they do if the Commander in Chief declares martial law?
