I’ve known this was coming since the rise of Sarah Palin and then the tea party. That’s why I jumped on a chance to move with my (Canadian) husband to Canada in 2011. I fear for those who can’t get out. People thought I was being hyperbolic when I expressed my concerns about where the country was going. I wish I had been.
