I also think he works for all his constituents and seriously considers policy implications for all of them. Some of his policy positions may be a little less far-left than some here would like. But those positions just might make him a very viable POTUS or VP candidate in the swing states we would need to carry.

A dream ticket might be Kelly-Newsom or Newsom-Kelly. Two white males, obviously, but very different styles to appeal to different constituencies.
