1. Thanks to SheShe's post earlier I've listened to the EP twice now

It's actually pretty damn solid, and while it's not classic 80's US in feel (no Lillywhite or Eno/Lanois I don't think), there's definitely 90's-early 2000's U2 feel to it, sound-wise. Esp. Edge's tone in American Obituary, feels straight off of Achtung. Also Bono is in fine voice.

The closer, Yours Eternally (with Ed Sheeran) is another standout, even if it's not esp. peggable to any particular U2 era. In fact it could kinda be a LOT of bands (I'd go so far as to say it could be a 90's Goo Goo Dolls song), but still a solid track.

Always great to the 4 lads from Dublin back in the musical fold
