(2,610 posts)if he kicked the bucket tomorrow. I'll be honest - I have no particular reason to believe that he will be treated with anything other than kid gloves for the rest of his life, because as the Epstein files are now revealing, the man has blackmail material on far too many people. That's how people like Trump operate.
So frame the OP question differently. What happens afterwards?
* Trump, Jr., is a cocaine addict, and has pretty much burned out any remaining brain cells.
* Eric is probably trying to be the favored child, no doubt plans a career in politics, but given everything else, I think he'll find it almost impossible to get out of Trump's shadow.
* Ivanka is far more focused on her businesses after getting burned back in Trump's first term, which is a big part of the reason she's all but disappeared in the last year.
* Tiffany just wants to be left alone.
* Barron played up the young heir apparent for a while, but frankly, I think he was forced into it by dear old dad.
Trump's fortunes are based largely on his ability to blackmail others, and the real danger for him from the Epstein files is that he is losing that ability as people are forced into the spotlight.
My gut feeling is that when daddy kicks the bucket, his estate is going to be entailed six ways to Sunday before his body is even interred. Yes, there will be squabbling over who gets what, but whether there's actually anything left by the time he's done remains to be seen . Truth Social will die with him. The bribes and "gifts" will come out in the inevitable investigation. Assets will likely be seized by multiple governments. His crypto accounts will likely fall to zero overnight because no one wants to get caught money laundering or passing bribes in the inevitable investigation. Most of his properties were sold long ago to cover other debts.
