I had realistically low expectations I thought. But it was even worse than that. Setting Dems up to be crazy and the villains. Very hard to listen to.
Sickening. There's exactly one thing he may actually be a genius at: marketing. He wove a myth that reminded me of the World Wrestling Federation. Or maybe The Hunger Games.
I've concluded that as unpleasant as that was, it's good to know how bad it is.

To remain somewhat sane, I make it a rule to never watch Trump speak, will only read excerpts from the transcripts.

Nope. Ugh, just the thought of listening to him ramble on incoherently makes me cringe.

It was painful to watch. I think everyone could see with their own eyes how staged that was. And, she wasn't part of it.

Call me a wimp, but I don't handle pain and suffering very well. So no, I didn't watch it. I'd rather have a root canal.

I watched the classic film "Gaslight" on TCM, instead. Knew I'd catch the

I chose to have a colonoscopy while getting a root canal while listening to nails scraped across a chalkboard, instead.

Of course I did. I'm not a masochist. I've read the analysis and summaries, an that's enough.

My wife and I watched it. We ended up yelling at the TV a lot. But Maddow did a good recap with the MS Now crew.
