Yesterday's WH presser: After I'm finished this, I'm going to go to Venezuela to become president [View all]

After tearing up this country he already has an exit plan in place to leave. You can't make this stuff up. He actually said this.

I thought him agreeing to the 25th Amendment would NEVER happen until he laid out his accountability escape plan in plain sight:

"The people of Venezuela, they say, if I ran for president of Venezuela, I'm polling higher than anybody has ever polled in Venezuela, so after I'm finished with this, I can go to Venezuela. I will quickly learn Spanish. It won't take too long. I'm good at language and I will go to Venezuela. I'm going to run for president. But we're very happy with the president-elect that we have right now."

He also said earlier in the same conference:

"After the presidency, I think I may go to Venezuela and run for president," and described it as a "wonderful option" for him.

Say what you will, but every statement is a confession, and nothing he says has been just a joke thus far.
