A theoretical physicist, that often contributed to shows on the science channel said he doesn't dismiss the possibility of alien life. He did point out, however, that people might want to tamper down their wishes for them to stop by earth for a visit.
He said they are likely far more technically advanced, and if they were to arrive with hostile intentions, we would most likely not be able to defend ourselves.
