* Senate: here are the top roles -

President of the Senate / Vice President of the United States: JD Vance (R) — serves as the presiding officer of the Senate and has the sole power to break tie votes Wikipedia+1.

President pro tempore: Chuck Grassley (R) — presides in the Vice President’s absence and is third in the line of presidential succession Wikipedia+1.

Majority Leader: John Thune (R) — head of the Republican majority, responsible for setting the legislative agenda and managing the flow of bills
